Programs designed to help students along their musical journey

Introductory Program
Let's start with the basics. Focusing on posture, guitar anatomy, how to hold a pick, fretting the guitar, and identifying note names assists in helping everything to come more naturally.

Basic Program
Now, let's learn about the fundamentals of music. We can create fun exercises to practice our scales and chords. Once we understand musical notation and the basics of music theory we can analyze recorded music and even begin to write our own songs.

Advanced Program
By diving into the depths of chord theory, we can create a variety of chords with different textures. New exercises become available to contextualize our studies. We will explore modes, arpeggios, inversions, voice leading, and harmonic analysis.

Custom Program
Would you like to improve your lead playing? Let's work on techniques like vibrato and bends to help you find your own musical voice. Let's study licks and riffs used by players that interest you.
Would you rather sit back and play rhythm? Let's talk about chord comping and spend time "in the shed" with songs with rhythm guitar that inspires you.
